Synopsis
Leofric and Alistair are bitter political rivals.
Leofric regards Alistair as a parasite feeding on the Empire and a treacherous courtier who clouds the judgment of a wise ruler.
Alistair, meanwhile, sees Leofric as a stubborn relic of the past—a bloodthirsty warmonger incapable of keeping up with the times.
