Synopsis
In the house where climbing roses bloom in full,
there lives one troublesome mutt.
Han Chanyeong may look refined on the outside, but the moment he opens his mouth, he becomes unbearable. With his naturally awful behavior, he constantly shakes up Kang Yonghui’s life.
“If I say jump, you jump. If I say come running, you come running. Got it?”
Around one summer when they were twelve,
he swung her around as if she were a dog on a leash.
“Say you like me. Then I’ll let you go quietly.”
Around another summer when they were seventeen,
he grabbed hold of her heart and toyed with it as if demanding she hand it over immediately.
“Don’t shut yourself away underground ever again.
Even if you’re angry, stay by my side and be angry.
Even if you want to cry, cry next to me.”
And in the summer when they were nineteen,
he finally let himself be shaken alongside her.
“You’re completely trapped by me now.”
All while Yonghui, helplessly swaying in the wind,
was preparing to leave behind the fresh scent of roses and walk away.
