Prologue
A throbbing pain pulsed in my head, and at the same time, something solid was wrapped tightly around my waist.
I forced my heavy, reluctant eyelids open and saw that the thing gripping my waist was a man’s arm.
I couldn’t quite remember what had happened yesterday.
I remembered drinking, but my memory after that was completely blank, as if the film had snapped.
But the ache in my lower back, the fact that I was stark naked without a single stitch on…
And most of all, the fact that the man right beside me was also undressed made it easy to guess what had happened.
My heart was pounding. This palpitation wasn’t from excitement, but from the fear that my father must have found out I’d stayed out all night.
Well… but I’m a full-grown adult now. I’m twenty years old; surely one mistake is allowed.
If I could sneak out before this man woke up, I could surely treat last night—which I couldn’t even remember—as if it never happened…
“Clearly, it should be difficult for you to move… Seeing you move so effortlessly, it seems your words last night about not being able to take any more were a lie.”
“……”
A terrifyingly handsome man with hair as black as pitch and eyes as red as blood was staring straight at me.
Still unable to grasp the situation, I just blinked.
“Why are you making such an innocent, clueless expression? Don’t tell me… you’re going to pretend that everything that happened last night was you taking advantage of me?”
“…No. That’s probably not it… Maybe.”
It’s just that I had no memory of it. But because I had plenty of reasons to feel guilty, I rolled my eyes, trying my best to avoid his gaze.
But perhaps that action rubbed him the wrong way.
“Maybe?”
“…Yes. Maybe.”
“If you don’t remember, then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to help you remember.”
He climbed on top of me, his smoldering, sinisterly gleaming crimson eyes fixed on me.
My own frightened figure was reflected in his hungry, beast-like eyes that seemed ready to devour me in one bite.
Feeling overwhelmed, I tried to push him away, but he didn’t budge an inch.
“You there…”
“Chester. Well, last night you were clinging to me, calling me ‘Chesta’ and crying… But you can call me whatever you’re comfortable with.”
“…Chester?”
I felt uneasy, but it couldn’t be. Black hair and blood-red eyes? They were the symbolic colors of the Siegbert ducal house, but they weren’t that rare.
“Yes. Chester.”
“…By any chance, are you Duke Chester Siegbert?”
Oh, come on, it can’t be. Don’t lie. Well, I guess the name could be the same.
The name Chester isn’t exclusive to Duke Siegbert. So, it absolutely shouldn’t be that Chester Siegbert. But my ominous premonitions are never wrong.
“Yes.”
What?
“Kyaaaaaaah!”
No, crazy! Why are you, the villain, here! And why are you in bed with me from last night!
Everything was despairing.
But I wasn’t even allowed time to despair.
“Hoo… I have no intention of hurting you, so don’t be afraid.”
Even as he said that, the look in his eyes as he gazed down at me was filled with hot desire.
My body flinched as his knee naturally slipped between my legs.
I felt like a herbivore facing a predator. My whole body stiffened rigidly, every nerve on edge.
A large hand carefully cupped my chin.
“Relax, Yulia.”
An exceedingly tender voice sweetly caressed my ears.
The moment our eyes met, his lips covered mine.
Prying apart my parted lips, the sensation of his tongue pushing inside felt unfamiliar.
My body stiffened rigidly as his tongue moved, probing and exploring every corner of my mouth.
Noticing this, he gently stroked my cheek with his hand as if to reassure me.
“Haa…”
Just as my mind seemed to be melting into a dizzying haze, his lips parted from mine.
Only then could I fully enjoy the fresh air.
As I let out a ragged, uneven breath and tried to return to my normal rhythm, a strange sensation on my neck caused me to frown slightly and let out a faint moan.
“Ugh!”
A large hand covered mine.
I felt throughout my entire body what it truly meant to be unable to move a muscle.
A dizzying thrill enveloped my mind, and a delicate moan escaped naturally from between my parted lips.
I bit my lower lip tightly to swallow back the moans as much as possible.
“You’ll hurt your lips. Don’t bite them.”
Those words, whispered hotly against my ear, were the last thing I heard clearly before my breath hitched and I was consumed by the unfamiliar sensations.
The pressure constricting my body made me squeeze my eyes shut.
