Yuanna, who had been sitting listlessly with her chin in her hand at Asdal’s words, twitched her eyebrows.
“Why?”
She looked at us with a face full of confusion. I spoke on Asdal’s behalf.
“It seems monsters will be attacking soon.”
“How do you know that?”
Yuanna, Diego, and Kaiden all turned their gazes to Asdal.
“There’s been no mention of this before,” Yuanna said, addressing Asdal. He answered calmly.
“My ability is practically a secret of the Hestia Kingdom, so how could I have told anyone? But now that I trust you, I’ll explain. There is a power passed down through the Hestia royal family called the ‘Magic Eye.’ Normally, it cannot be used without magic, which is why I borrowed magic from Lady Flone.”
“Borrowed magic?”
Kaiden looked at me with wide eyes, as if surprised by the unexpected revelation. This time, I kindly explained.
“I found that I can use magic myself. I can control it, and I was training to inject my magic into others using the magical aid given to me by His Highness, Prince Asdal.”
“Using magic in that way… how fascinating.”
Kaiden mulled over my words thoughtfully, while Yuanna looked at me with a face full of confusion.
“Ah… now I understand why His Highness clings to you so much. But why… why only you?”
“I’m very curious about that too,” I said.
Yuanna rested her chin in her hand and examined my face as if trying to figure me out. Meanwhile, Diego asked Asdal again.

Asdal answered with a bright smile directed at Enok. I tilted my head in confusion at his words and spoke.
“But weren’t all of those burned?”
“There could still be some lingering smell or remains,” Asdal replied.
At that, Yuanna asked,
“Could they come up here?”
“It’s possible, so it’s best to avoid them if we can. And besides, we have a path we must take anyway, don’t we?”
At Enok’s words, Yuanna finally fell silent without saying anything further.
And so, we decided to leave the cabin.
