Chapter 1
Prologue
In the original novel The Fate of Triya, there was a notorious villainous family.
It was none other than the House of Kereis.
Its fame began during the founding of the Triya Empire, when it defeated an army of one hundred thousand enemy soldiers.
However, fearing that the family’s power would continue to grow, the emperor granted them the empire’s most fertile western territory as a reward—while in reality sending them far away from the capital in the south.
The Kereis family accepted the offer and gradually expanded its influence.
After many years, the twelfth Duke of Kereis took over the family.
His name was Getre Kereis.
He was a man infamous for his unmatched cruelty.
And just like him, he had three sons who inherited every bit of his vicious nature.
Shevert.
Ron.
Crimu.
These are the famous three brothers…
The infamous villain brothers from the original novel.
Just hearing their names was enough to make people tremble.
The merciless Kereis brothers.
All three shared striking blue hair and blood-red eyes.
More importantly, they all had absolutely terrible personalities.
Still, each had his own distinctive traits.
The eldest, Shevert Kereis…
“You filthy little beggar… did you just glare at me?”
He was unbelievably handsome at first glance.
Unfortunately, his mouth was just as awful.
It was as though every thought skipped his brain entirely before coming out.
And if anyone dared irritate his already frayed nerves…
He’d pounce like a wild beast without warning.
Within moments, the victim would be beaten so badly there wouldn’t even be bones left to collect.
It didn’t matter who they were.
He was exactly what you’d expect from the arrogant eldest son of House Kereis—a man who feared absolutely nothing.
Though compared to Ron, Shevert was practically harmless.
The second brother, Ron Kereis, possessed the darkest blue hair and the brightest crimson eyes among the three.
He was, in every sense of the word…
A murderous madman.
The one you had to fear the most.
“Everyone who catches my eye… I’ll kill them all.”
Ron Kereis would lose his mind if he went even a single day without spilling blood.
A sword was always in his hand.
The stench of blood constantly clung to him.
Wherever he stood, an oppressive darkness followed.
People even whispered that the only reason he lived…
…was to kill.
Ron Kereis was also known as the “Seed of Calamity,” cursed by his own family.
When he eventually came of age, he slaughtered thousands and brought the Kereis family to ruin.
Ron was completely insane.
And finally…
The youngest son of the villainous family…
Crimu Kereis.
“I won’t do what my brothers do. So… how about I just hit you once and we call it even?”
Unlike his older brothers, he didn’t enjoy watching blood splatter everywhere.
In fact, gruesome scenes often made him frown.
That didn’t mean Crimu was kind.
Far from it.
He simply preferred finishing everything with a single blow.
He would strike directly at his opponent’s vital point—
Bang!
As he grew older, his physical strength became monstrously overwhelming.
His body itself was practically a weapon.
Despite being the youngest, no one among the three could match him in raw strength.
As someone who had read the original novel, my conclusion was simple.
Shevert. Ron. Crimu…
None of them are normal.
Just what was the author thinking when creating these monsters?
Whatever the case…
I absolutely had to avoid them.
Even if I happened to bump into them on the street, I needed to run away immediately.
And if they saw me?
I’d better pretend to faint on the spot.
Unfortunately…
My determination didn’t matter.
“Aaaah! No! I don’t want this!”
I had been reincarnated…
Right into that very novel.
And before I knew it, I was heading straight toward the Kereis family’s den.
There was one small piece of good news.
It was six years before the original story began.
Meaning…
The three Kereis brothers were still children.
“Wait… they’re not scary at all?”
The young Kereis brothers weren’t cruel.
They weren’t terrifying.
If anything…
They were actually kind of cute.
Without even realizing it, I ended up helping them.
I rescued them from danger.
Saved their lives.
Became their friend.
And then…
Something completely unexpected happened.
“Huh…?”
The world before me looked like something straight out of a fairy tale.
Soft white clouds drifted lazily across the sky.
A vast flower field stretched out like a fluffy blanket.
How beautiful.
I was enjoying the sweet fragrance of flowers when—
The bushes suddenly rustled.
Then…
Pop.
Pop.
Pop.
Three identical boys poked their heads out one after another.
Before I could even react, the eldest, Shevert, gave me a playful wink.
“Hehe.”
Before I could recover…
The youngest, Crimu, waved his tiny hand with a bright smile that showed off his adorable dimples.
“Hehe! Hehe!”
They’re way too cute!
I was just about to smile myself…
When my eyes were drawn to the quiet boy standing beside them.
“Hello.”
With both hands cupping his cheeks like a flower, the boy smiled sweetly.
Dark blue hair.
Brilliant crimson eyes.
It was Ron Kereis.
“He’s so beautiful!”
How could someone smile so beautifully?
No.
Get a grip.
These were the three brothers of the villainous Kereis family.
“Haha…”
I forced an awkward laugh and slowly backed away.
Immediately, the three boys rushed toward me.
They insisted that I was the one who had saved them.
Their savior.
“Oh, come on! Stop clinging to me!”
My long and complicated relationship with the three Kereis brothers…
Began when I was thirteen years old.
