Chapter 7
The banquet hall was filled with blinding light.
Blake could not take his eyes away from what was happening in front of him. A fierce wind swirled around Priscilla at the center of it all. Multicolored light wrapped around her like a vortex.
‘Multicolored…?’
At his own involuntary thought, he was unable to hide his confusion.
The Frazer imperial bloodline was said to be blessed with divine power. That was why the Frazer Empire was called a “Divine Empire.”
Blake, by birth, had inherited the strongest portion of that divine power, and with it he had stood at the forefront of battle, purging monsters.
But where there is light, there is also shadow.
He was under a curse.
Blake Frazer could feel nothing.
He could not see any color, could not smell anything except blood and iron, and could not taste anything at all.
His parents had called it a bloodline curse when he was young—a price paid by the one who inherited the greatest power in the imperial family. A curse even saints could not break.
‘But this…’
The surrounding air trembled.
Radiant light spilled from Priscilla’s fingertips, and her hair fluttered in a gentle yet powerful wind.
Silver hair. Violet eyes. A faint lavender scent he didn’t remember ever noticing before. A crimson aura wrapped around her body, followed by blue sparks and emerald brilliance, and—
Even though he had never experienced such sensations before, he somehow knew all their names instinctively.
He could not look away.
He even forgot the High Saint, who had been irritating him just moments before.
When the storm of light gradually subsided, silence returned. Blake blinked, and the world seemed to revert to the familiar palace hall as if nothing had happened.
‘Was that… an illusion?’
“I serve the god named…”
A low voice reached his ears.
She paused briefly, as if steadying her breath, then spoke clearly.
“The god ‘Amuir.’ As a saint, I serve Him.”
Priscilla slowly closed her eyes.
Sunlight streaming through the temple windows rippled like waves, surrounding her figure. It was nothing short of sacred.
‘…We must take her to the borderlands.’
Blake recalled his original purpose—recruiting a new saint.
Whatever connection she had to his curse, it would not be too late to ask her later.
“….”
And so, Blake—who had just begun to develop a faint obsession toward Priscilla—did not notice.
That Priscilla was staring at a system window in silent shock.
Nor did he notice the High Saint Eve, her face twisted in displeasure, glaring at Priscilla.

Lying on my bed, I stared at the floating YES and NO buttons, then muttered unconsciously.
“Damn it…”
What is this sudden status window?
A genre shift out of nowhere?
‘Don’t tell me I got thrown into a game? I’ve never played anything like this!’
Could it be I got isekai’d into a game I never even played?
Could something that absurd actually happen?
[System: This interface is configured to resemble the media most familiar to the apprentice saint, Priscilla.]
“…Seriously? You think I’m a game addict or something?”
I sat up abruptly and glared at the translucent window floating in front of me.
After everything at the palace, I had returned to the Lockhart estate. A lot had happened, but I had ultimately been recognized by the imperial family as a saint. By tomorrow, the entire social circle would know.
The High Saint had disappeared at some point. I had rushed back here because I was too busy panicking over the system window.
And now—
“Hey. Can you talk? You were so chatty earlier, why so quiet now?”
I sat cross-legged on the bed in a rather rude posture and scolded the system.
Thankfully, Chelsea—who had been waiting in the carriage—had gone to prepare tea after seeing my dazed state, so I was alone.
[You may check your current status. Would you like to view it?]
“Wow, ignoring me now?”
Are you seriously messing with me?
Grinding my teeth, I forced myself to calm down.
“…Fine. I’ll check it.”
As if waiting for that answer, the status screen expanded rapidly.

“…A standard status window, huh.”
I collapsed back onto the bed. My strength drained out of my body.
Honestly, it all felt unreal.
‘What a bizarre day.’
I had gone to the palace believing in nothing more than a reincarnation perk.
But then the High Saint barged in, the Grand Duke and High Saint started fighting, I almost got exposed by the Iris Church artifact, and then a status window appeared and I became an Apprentice Saint of the Amuir Church…
“Right. Amuir Church.”
I suddenly sat up again and glared at the system.
“Hey! What kind of religion name is Amuir Church?! Couldn’t you at least pick something normal?!”
I recalled what happened at the palace.
Just as I panicked about being exposed by the mirror, a storm of wind and light suddenly engulfed me.
‘What is this?!’
Then, amidst my confusion, a translucent system window appeared.
[System: Checking conditions… Conditions met. Initiating Saint Awakening.]
‘What?!’
The world spun as everything changed too fast to process.
Through the system window, I saw the shocked faces of the Grand Duke and Locke. The High Saint was hidden behind her veil, her expression unreadable.

[Download interrupted. Required condition — “Religion Name”]
Then the wind and light gradually faded.
And at the same time—
“My god’s name is…”
My voice came out on its own.
‘?! What? My voice is moving by itself?!’
I quickly scanned the surroundings. Everyone was staring at me.
My mind raced.
Religion name. Religion name. What god was I supposed to claim again?! I can’t remember!
I had made up a name in advance, but my brain refused to cooperate under pressure.
Then a new message appeared.
[Would you like to use a recommended “Religion Name”?]
The moment YES and NO appeared, I screamed internally.
YES! YES!!
I chose it without hesitation. The word “recommended” made me trust it blindly.
That was my mistake.
“Even if it’s recommended, who names a religion like that?!”
I glared at the status window.
“Why is it garlic?! GARLIC?!”
Yes.
“Amuir” in this world was a plant that corresponded to garlic in my previous life—same thing, different name.
In other words…
“I’m the saint of the Garlic Church?!”
A saint serving the Garlic God!
And because I had clicked YES, the voice had already been spoken automatically—I couldn’t even undo it.
A religion called Garlic Church…
“Waaah… this is so embarrassing…”
I collapsed face-first onto the bed and cried in despair.
And then—
growl.
My stomach betrayed me at the worst possible moment.
It was 4 PM. I had skipped lunch because of everything at the palace.
“….”
Sniffling, I slowly lifted my head.
Well then.
Maybe I should eat first… and think afterward.
