Chapter 1
Prologue
[Do you believe in salvation?]
[Let’s save this ruined world with love!]
I blinked.
“…A cult?”
It was a slogan you might hear outside a subway station, printed on some random sign.
“No, wait… where even am I?”
Last night, I finally deleted the game I both loved and hated… then went to sleep.
But now I’d woken up in some place where a bunch of kids were crying.
“Waaah! We… we’re all going to die!”
“Big brooo…”
“It’s okay. Don’t cry.”
A mix of kids of all ages were huddled together, sobbing.
In front of me stood a giant wall—
moss growing all over it, the stench of rotten plants, damp air…
And I was wearing ragged gray clothes.
“But they said they’re going to feed us to the monsters!”
The scene was too familiar. It gave me chills.
“No way… Is this the game I used to play?”
As my eyes trembled in disbelief, a pale white hand suddenly reached out to me.
“Are you okay? You look really scared.”
A calm, gentle voice—
Unlike the other terrified kids, this boy spoke in a composed tone.
When I looked up, I met eyes with a young boy staring down at me.
He had soft, sky-blue hair.
Messy, but still beautiful.
His fair, radiant face was unforgettable.
“Wait… If I say where I’ve seen that face, I’ll sound crazy.”
But how could I not recognize him?
The moment my suspicious guess turned into certainty—
The boy in front of me was none other than Kahn,
the protagonist of the game I loved—
the one who went viral as “The Shockingly Beautiful Main Character of the New Game.jpg.”
I saw my stunned reflection in his grown-up eyes.
“Ah… Aah.”
I’m screwed.
It looks like I’ve been transported into that cursed game I cried over last night.
The horror-adventure-mafia escape game: <Black Salvator>
You’re supposed to save the world—
but no one can know you are the savior!
An RPG played like a mafia game where you hide your true identity.
At first, I was excited when I started.
…Exactly one month later, I made a post in the game’s online community.

└ Savior 1: …??? You mean that thing born from trash? That was a cat?? Savior 4: Take this post down, you poor traumatized fanatic victim lol
Here’s how the cursed game’s story goes:
One day, an evil god descends on the world.
He brings black rain, corrupting the land and destroying everything.
Humanity’s livable land shrinks, and people slowly go insane.
Then, the religious order “Felice” receives a prophecy.
“The world’s final savior will appear!”
A Pope chosen by the gods will purify the world and defeat the evil god.
So the order gathers children from all over the country—
to choose who the true Pope will be.
That’s how the game begins.
But the so-called “happy ending” you get by saving everyone?
It’s more like a myth you just hear about.
In my case, just once—
I reached the edge of the happy ending…
and a bug ruined it.
After that, I never saw it again.
Every other ending I got?
123 total-party-death endings.
1,050 bad endings.
After so many brutal deaths, I raged and finally deleted the game!
And now…
“Why am I in the game world?!”
I looked down into a puddle to see my reflection.
“A little girl.”
Probably once pale as snow before all the mud.
Pink hair.
Eyes like clear marbles.
“About three years old?”
Overall: a tiny, adorable child.
“Sigh.”
Cute enough to be a child model. But what’s the point?
“I’m about to die.”
As I sighed deeply—
“Waaah! I wanna go back to Mommy!”
One terrified kid suddenly ran off.
Instinctively, I bolted after them on my tiny legs.
“Don’t go there!!”
No, absolutely not! I threw my body forward to push them away.
“Ugh, my body’s too small!”
I couldn’t push the bigger kid out of the way—
So I took their place instead.
RUMBLE!!
“Crap, too late to dodge?!”
I looked up and saw a massive stone falling from above.
“Maze Ending 1: Watch out for falling ceilings…”
One hit and I’d die instantly.
Am I really about to die…
in a beginner’s trap?
