Synopsis
“Baby, do you want to live with me?”
Spring. A season when showers of blooming flowers cover the world, disguised as romance.
In a run-down alley of a poor neighborhood, Tae-eon finds Ah-hyun, a seventeen-year-old boy covered in bruises.
Ah-hyun’s gentle face looks exactly like Bok-hee, the lover of a former gang boss who disappeared from the organization seventeen years ago. He is so innocent and beautiful that he seems as if he could disappear at any moment.
Tae-eon, a man known for being cold and distant, finds himself becoming unusually soft only toward this young and innocent boy.
“Ah-hyun, do you want to live with me?”
At those words, Ah-hyun throws himself into Tae-eon’s arms without hesitation.
As they begin living together, the once colorless seasons of their lives slowly fill with warmth and color.
“My wish is that you never hug anyone except me.”
“Why? Would that make you jealous?”
“…Because I like you too much.”
As Ah-hyun grows older, his feelings for Tae-eon grow stronger as well.
But Tae-eon dismisses Ah-hyun’s awkward confessions as nothing more than cute affection from a younger boy and cannot bring himself to accept them.
Then one day, Tae-eon realizes something.
It was never Ah-hyun, the pure and innocent boy, that he couldn’t love.
What he truly couldn’t bear was spending all those years terrified that Ah-hyun might disappear like smoke from his life.
