Synopsis
They say that even if you have to roll around in a field of dung, it’s still better to be alive.
“When an allied force of 130,000 Tang soldiers and 50,000 Silla troops invaded Baekje, the Great King abandoned the capital of Sabi and his people. While fleeing the advancing allied army, the palace maid Samcheon was stabbed by someone’s sword and fell from Nakhwaam Cliff to her death.”
Samcheon, a palace maid serving in Mokseo Palace, has spent her life hiding her ability to glimpse the future.
One day, she has a prophetic dream in which she witnesses the fall of Baekje—and her own death.
She is nothing more than a palace maid, possessing neither wealth, fame, nor power. How could someone like her possibly survive against an invading army of 180,000?
And yet…
“There’s no need to explain. Just tell me what you need me to do.”

— Worya, the mysterious man who appears whenever she is in danger, rescues her, and vanishes again.
Wait…
Maybe surviving isn’t impossible after all?
What lies before Samcheon, who wants nothing more than to live a peaceful life, is not a path strewn with flowers—but a romance unfolding along the road to a nation’s destruction.
