One Day, Dad Disappeared

Synopsis

“…Dad?”

He had vanished without a trace, as though he had never existed in the first place.

“What are you talking about? You don’t have a father.”

Everyone in the world had forgotten her father. Everyone except her.

Even Aidan, her former academy classmate who had become her boss, treated her like she was insane.

Despite her determination to find her father no matter what, she gradually began to fall apart, wondering if she really was losing her mind.

Then, one day, she stumbled upon her father’s diary.

“See? I told you I was right! My dad definitely exists!”

Her father had existed. She wasn’t delusional after all.

“Do you think… we can find my dad?”

The only thing she knew about the Gates so far was that they could be closed using magnetic fields. Was it even possible to bring her father back?

“Nothing has been confirmed yet. That’s why we’re here.”

Just then, the door opened with a rattling sound.

“Come on. Let’s get off.”

And so, from that day onward, Cynthia and Aidan began their investigation to uncover the reason behind her father’s disappearance.
