Chapter 1
I looked at the man sitting in front of me.
“You said you have something to tell me?”
“Yes.”
“What is it…?”
“Before I get to the point, I think it’s better to reveal my identity first. Enosh Le Elpida. That is my name. And…”
The man opened his shirt collar and pulled out a necklace hidden beneath his robe.
“I am the Crown Prince of this empire.”
A necklace shaped like a combination of two stars and a moon dangled in the air.
It was the emblem of the imperial family of the empire I lived in.
“The Crown Prince…? Why would the Crown Prince come to see me?”
Given my surroundings and status, I had absolutely no connection to someone like the Crown Prince.
But my thoughts didn’t last long.
“Iena Or.”
The man’s voice calling my name pierced my ears, snapping me back to reality.
“How do you know that…?”
“It’s not difficult to find out your real name.”
The Crown Prince smiled, just as arrogantly as the voice that had called my name.
“I have a proposal for you.”
“A proposal?”
“Yes.”
The Crown Prince nodded and took out a rolled-up piece of paper from his chest, placing it on the table.
“Go ahead, open it.”
I carefully unrolled it. Soon, a portrait of a man came into view.
“Um… who is this person?”
“Kaleb Igon.”
At that overly familiar name, my body flinched.
“Any citizen of the empire would know him.”
The Crown Prince added, as if it were impossible not to.
And just as he said, I knew that name.
Kaleb Igon was the male protagonist of the novel I had possessed into, The Flower of Elpida!
I looked away from the portrait and asked,
“Why are you showing me the Duke’s portrait?”
“I already told you.”
The Crown Prince gestured toward the portrait I was holding.
“I am making a proposal to you.”
No way… could that proposal be…
To seduce the male lead?
There’s no way that would be—
“Seduce the Duke.”
“What are you—”
“I’ve heard rumors that you are the most infamous seductress of the era.”
A stiff, awkward smile formed on my lips.
So that’s why the Crown Prince himself came looking for me—because of those rumors.
I was about to explain that it was a misunderstanding, just baseless gossip, but he didn’t even give me a chance to protest.
“They say you’ve made countless men kneel at your feet using that body of yours.”
Well, I mean… I did make people kneel using my body… technically, physical strength is still using the body…
“They say no man can withstand you with just a single gesture.”
That’s true, but what you’re imagining and what actually happened are two completely different things…
“They say if you so much as give them a smiling glance, they can’t even meet your eyes.”
That’s just because they were intimidated by me…
“I don’t care what methods you use. Make the Duke fall for you.”
Hey, Your Highness the Crown Prince.
I think you might have come to the wrong person for this request.
