It was already night, and the sun had set, but the light on Jaeylin’s desk showed no sign of going out. On the desk, which had been misdiagnosed and used by many boarders, the papers she had received from Nadan were spread out in a messy pile.
It was a map showing the terrain of the hologram arena, a list of monsters that would appear and their locations, and detailed data on the characteristics of each monster. Since Adrian had instructed all team members to come up with a strategy, Jaeylin had been poring over the documents for a long time, sighing and groaning.
Strategy was not Jaeylin’s field. She had never fought a monster before, nor had she ever thought she would participate in a mock battle. A sigh escaped her lips.

She felt like she needed to know Nadan’s abilities to create a strategy. Jaeylin looked down at the bracelet on her wrist. It was a bracelet she had received from the departmental administrative office that allowed her to access the community. She could use this to ask Nadan about his powers without having to meet him in person. After a moment of hesitation, Jaeylin accessed the community.
A small window quickly popped up in her field of vision. The community supported various modes, but it was designed to show an anonymous community window by default when you logged in. Even though it was evening, the community window was filled with active conversations.

It took a while for Jaeylin to calm her startled heart. But turning off the anonymous community window didn’t end the situation. The magic stone on her bracelet lit up, and Stephen’s name appeared in the private chat window.
