Plot
Seongjin Capital, an illegal loan shark business run by gangsters.
Rookie lawyer Yoo Min-ha is assigned to advise a whistleblower from Seongjin, a client everyone else avoids.
A step toward a just world. She thought that was all that was left to do.
Until one chilly dawn, she comes face to face with a stranger.
“Do Yi-hyun from Seongjin Capital. You’re Yoo Min-ha, the lawyer, right?”
“How do you know my name?”
“That’s hardly a big deal.”
Do Yi-hyun, the notoriously feared in-house director of Seongjin Capital.
Before him, Yoo Min-ha witnesses the raw collapse of her client and her own sense of justice.
And from that day on, everything changed.
Unexplained misunderstandings and threats begin to persistently shadow her.
The harder she tries to escape, the deeper she sinks into the mire. Then, one day, the man appears again.
“We need to settle things before the situation gets more troublesome. I need your cooperation, Ms. Yoo Min-ha.”
“What kind of cooperation, exactly?”
“Let’s get engaged. With me.”
Is it a joke? A threat? She can’t tell which.
