Falling Into Hell

As I entered the wedding hall filled with nerves and anticipation,
my eyes met a woman in the guest seats wearing a white dress.
A dress so identical to my bridal gown, it looked intentionally matched.
Yet I seemed to be the only one shocked.
“She has a mischievous streak—probably playing a prank.
It’s not enough to ruin the ceremony. I’ll scold her later,
so please don’t take it too seriously,”
My husband said, nonchalantly.
“Uriel and the Count’s household are like family to me.
I hope you’ll grow close to them too.”
After that humiliating wedding, the place I entered wasn’t a home—it was a prison.
“His Majesty said today he plans to send you to a convent.All other surviving royals of the previous dynasty are already dead.
The fact that you’re being kept alive—well, it’s too generous, really.”
Eventually, I lost everything.
Then the woman pregnant with my husband’s child came to me.
I had lost my child, my family, and even my face was disfigured.
As I turned my back on the world and leapt to my death,
I cursed them all—viciously, bitterly.
If I ever have a next life, I swear I’ll drag them all to hell.
And… that wish was granted.
“Heila, why are the two of you together?”
My husband’s bloodshot eyes burned with suspicion, rage, and reproach.
But toward the man standing next to me, he couldn’t express his anger.
Before I could reply, the man beside me grabbed my wrist.
Just as I was about to be dragged away,
a strong, firm hand removed my husband’s grip.
A dazzlingly handsome face appeared before me,and below it, a uniform matching mine almost perfectly.
Right in front of everyone, he reached out his hand to me and asked:
“Does what you said last time still stand?
That I belong to you?”
