Plot Summary
Go Jaeun was clearly a pervert.
“Let’s sleep in the bed tomorrow.”
Honestly, Da-jeong should’ve known from the moment he showed up looking that flustered.
But in the end, she couldn’t refuse and ended up lying in bed just like he asked.
His firm body pulled her close. His soft breaths brushed past her ear. His gentle touch lightly tickled her skin.
“You’re soft and squishy… it feels nice.”
At first glance, they might’ve looked like a close couple—but the reality was far from that.
“I can only fall asleep if you’re next to me.”
Han Dajeong was simply his housekeeper and sleep-helper—nothing more, no feelings involved.
But when did things between them start to change?
“When you look at me… what exactly do you feel?”
Jaeun laughed under his breath at what Da-jeong just said.
Did she even realize what she was saying?
“…Honestly, I’m confused. I don’t know if it’s my heart or my body reacting.”
Would a small lie like this be okay?
She didn’t want to open up her feelings honestly in front of someone who kept drawing lines and saying he didn’t like her back.
“I want to find out.”
“…”
“If I’m drawn to you, Director Go… or if it’s just something else.”
Then suddenly, he leaned his forehead against her arm, shoulders slightly shaking.
“Why… are you laughing? I’m being serious…”
Did she come off like a child again?
She couldn’t understand what part of this was funny. She just bit her lip awkwardly—until he finally lifted his head.
“So, how exactly are you going to find out?”
“Uh… I mean… I was just saying it’s okay if we keep lying down like this…”
“I’m not planning to just lie down anymore.”
His eyes darkened with emotion.
“Okay. Let’s do it.”
“Huh? Do what?”
“Let’s find out.”
Then, Jaeun grabbed the back of Da-jeong’s neck and pulled her in.
Her head jerked slightly in surprise—and their lips met.
