Rosalyn has two rules: get paid first, and never stay in one place long enough to get caught. A former assassin turned fortune teller, she’s saving every coin she can to disappear from the empire and start over under a brand-new identity. Everything is going according to plan—until a lucrative delivery job turns into an endless exchange of letters with a certain duke. Unfortunately, the man on the receiving end seems far too interested in her. While Rosalyn tries to finish the job and keep her distance, the duke remains stubbornly determined to stay by her side. The more she insists he’s a nuisance, the harder it becomes to ignore him. Especially when she’s starting to look forward to seeing him.
