The way this story is told, it reminds me of Anne of Green Gables, it gives you almost the same kind of feeling, if only the ML in this one was one of the toes in Gilbert’s left foot, he’ll be acceptable but still, Rose is adorable and I’m reading until the end of her journey. Thank you so much for picking this up, the translation is really well done.

this story feels SO MUCH like Anne of Green Gables, although the characters have very different personalities (especially at the start…but i feel like Rose is growing to become more like Anne), the vibe and setting feels so similar. also i pray that Edmund (and Sophie and Chris) finally get proper character education and have some growth.
