The next day.
When Feng Tingshen arrived at the company, he ran into Rong Ci.
Rong Ci didn’t know that Feng Tingshen and Feng Jingxin had already returned to the country.
Seeing him suddenly at the company, she froze in surprise.
There was a trace of surprise in Feng Tingshen’s eyes too, but he simply assumed she had just come back from a business trip and didn’t think much about it.
With a blank expression, he treated her like a stranger and walked past her coldly into the company.

Rong Ci tightened her grip on the tray. “I came to deliver the cof—”
“That’s enough, Secretary Rong.” Cheng Yuan, Feng Tingshen’s other personal secretary, happened to arrive.
He knew about the relationship between Rong Ci and Feng Tingshen.
He said, “This is really meaningless.”
He didn’t say it directly, but Rong Ci immediately understood what he meant.
He thought she knew Lin Wu had come to the company and deliberately used delivering coffee as an excuse to interrupt them.
Judging from Feng Tingshen’s expression, he seemed to think so too.
If it had been before, she might really have done something like that.
But now she was about to divorce him. Why would she do such a thing?

Cheng Yuan said coldly, “Please leave immediately!”
Rong Ci’s eyes turned red. Her hands trembled slightly as she held the tray. The coffee in the cup spilled and burned her fingers. She winced in pain but didn’t make a sound as she turned and left.
After she took two steps, Feng Tingshen’s voice came from the office again. “If this happens again, you won’t need to come to the company anymore.”
She had already resigned.
Even without this incident, once someone replaced her, she would leave the company immediately.
But she knew no one here cared about her matters.
There was no point in saying anything.
Rong Ci remained silent and walked away with the tray.
Before leaving, she heard Lin Wu gently comforting Feng Tingshen. “Alright, Tingshen. I think she didn’t mean it. Don’t stay angry…”
Rong Ci poured the coffee away and held her burned fingers under running water. Then she took ointment from her bag and carefully applied it.
Though she was good at cooking now and could make excellent coffee, before marrying Feng Tingshen, she couldn’t cook, didn’t do housework, and had never even drunk coffee.
After marriage, for Feng Tingshen and for their child, she learned everything.
She spent a great deal of time practicing, improving from terrible at first to almost perfect now.
Only she knew the hardship behind it.

But since Feng Jingxin had gone with Feng Tingshen to City A, she rarely needed to use them.
Fortunately, they hadn’t expired.

The two colleagues were chatting. When they saw Rong Ci stand up and remembered they still had to go downstairs for a meeting together, they quickly stopped and said awkwardly, “Let’s work first. We can gossip later.”
Rong Ci knew that the “President Feng’s girlfriend” they were talking about was Lin Wu.
But she showed no expression. She walked out of the office and entered the elevator with them.
After getting out of the elevator, they were about to head to the meeting room when they saw Lin Wu walking toward them with four senior executives.
The four executives surrounded Lin Wu carefully, flattering and attentive.
Lin Wu smiled. “Thank you for taking the time to show me around the company. You’ve worked hard.”
She wore famous brands from head to toe, and every movement showed the grace of a wealthy heiress.
Though she spoke politely, she acted as if she were already the lady boss of the company. There was a slight distance in her politeness, as if the managers were already her subordinates.
The managers smiled ingratiatingly. “Given your relationship with President Feng, this is only our duty. Miss Lin, you’re too kind.”
“Yes, yes.”
As they spoke, they saw Rong Ci and the others stepping out of the elevator. Even though Rong Ci and her colleagues had already moved to the side and were not blocking the way, the managers frowned immediately.
“Watch where you’re going! What if you bumped into Miss Lin? You have no manners at all!”
