Synopsis
A cross-dressing duchess inside a BL novel who pretends to be an obsessive male lead.
I am the owner of that rather unusual description.
Lewin de Berwen.
A sword master, blessed with outstanding looks, and the lord of a powerful ducal house.
She seems perfect—but she has one secret: she is actually a woman disguised as a man.
Then one day, after falling into the water, a mad imperial princess tells her:
“Please become the fake obsessive male lead, unnie!”
Because this is a bleak BL novel, she asks Lewin to seduce the protagonist in place of the original obsessive male lead to prevent the world’s destruction.
So, according to plan, I acted as the obsessive male lead and seduced him. But then…
“Pretend to love me, at least. Otherwise, I might feel like killing the person you truly love.”
The ‘protagonist’ I seduced and abandoned returned as the emperor of the new empire.
“What must I do to have you? War? Massacre?”
The enemy emperor—original ‘Obsessive Male Lead #1’—is truly insane.
“With just one kiss from you, I could give up everything I have. This heart, this empire.”
And the childhood friend I thought was merely innocent turns out to be the original ‘Obsessive Male Lead #2.’
For some reason, the real obsessive male leads are staking the world on me.
